Binghamton, NY, October 18, 2018:  Greater Binghamton SCORE Chapter 217 celebrated it’s 2018 Entrepreneur Recognition at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City today. Business leaders, educators, and lawmakers from across the area gathered to celebrate some of the region’s newest businesses.

Les Howard, Chair of the SCORE Greater Binghamton Chapter explained, “SCORE’s mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. We’re delighted to see the dreams of these entrepreneurs come to life as they establish their businesses right here in our community”. Each of the entrepreneurs recognized at the event participated in programs at the SUNY Broome’s Entrepreneurial Assistance Center and received mentoring services from SCORE. “It’s an exciting time for our community as we’re building the resources and infrastructure to grow small businesses and enhance economic opportunities and overall prosperity in the Greater Binghamton region”.
